Position Objective:

Looking for a Full Stack developer who will take a key role on our team. Must have knowledge in all stages of software development. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our platform.

Developers will work with a range of responsibilities, including: writing, developing, testing and reviewing code, supporting existing applications, liaising with end users to fix defects, find solutions and test them, adding functionality to current applications by designing and implementing solutions in addition to further architecting and developing our white-label, multi-tenant platform.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or similar
  • 4+ years’ experience web development; Javascript, HTML, CSS experience is highly desirable as well as experience with modern JS frameworks such as NodeJS.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL), as well as in-memory key-value data stores (Redis)
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
  • Development experience in both mobile and desktop web applications.
  • Knowledge of the cellular phone industry and text messaging preferred
  • Familiarity with the commercial software development process with good software hygiene regarding code documentation, unit testing, bug tracking, and branch management.
  • Self-management and strong prioritization skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent oral and written English communication skills in client-facing communications (developers communicate with stakeholders directly)
  • Highly motivated, team player with a track record of technical leadership and technical collaboration.
  • Desire to be part of a fast-moving start-up and work in a fast-paced, collaborative, environment with few rigid boundaries.

The position is in-house. Applicants must be willing to commute or re-locate if outside of Davenport, IA area.
